Choose from either an Air Boat on the lower Waimakariri river or head to the hill for the Waimakariri gorge for a Heli jet boat experience.
AIR BOAT - LOWER WAIMAKARIRI RIVER
After take-off you will enjoy views of Christchurch City and the spectacular Southern Alps before your pilot whisks you away on a ten minute flight to the banks of
the Waimakariri River. Waiting for you will be the award-winning Alpine Jet Thrills team, ready to blast you down this magnificent, braided river at speed with their highly trained driver. Experience the sensation of skimming over wet stones in Air Force 2, Their genuine all American style AirBoat. Then it’s back on board the helicopter for the return flight to base.

HELIJET- UPPER WAIMAKARIRI RIVER
Departing our Christchurch base, you will fly low level along the braided shallows and up into the Waimakariri River Gorge to the jetboat base to your waiting Jet Boat. Explore the Waimakariri canyon on a 20 minute adventure following the river as it winds into the foothills of the Southern Alps before winging your way back to our Christchurch Heliport.
