Christchurch Helicopter Winery Tour 2026

Enjoy a scenic return helicopter flight to North Canterbury. Take in the panoramic vineyard views and coastline, before touching down at one of the region’s celebrated boutique wineries. 

Choose from two of Waipara’s most acclaimed estates:

Greystone Winery – Award-winning organic wines, spectacular hillside setting, and refined cellar door experiences.

Black Estate Winery – Iconic North Canterbury vineyard known for handcrafted wines and exceptional seasonal cuisine.

Enhance your experience with an optional gourmet winery lunch and curated wine tasting, showcasing the best of Waipara Valley’s cool-climate varietals.

After your time indulging in fine wine and cuisine, reboard your helicopter for a scenic return flight to Christchurch.

Allow approximately 2.5 hours total experience time.

Please note: Winery lunch and wine tastings are not included in the helicopter flight price. These can be added during our online booking process, or you are welcome to arrange dining and tasting experiences directly with your chosen winery. 

Bookings on statutory holidays incur a 15% surcharge for lunch and tastings. 

Greystone - Cellar Door and Restaurant Open – Thursday to Monday 11-4:30. Open for Tastings only – Tuesday and Wednesday 11-4

Black Estate -  Restaurant is open Thursday – Monday for lunch, 11.30 am -4pm Cellar door is open 7 days 10am -4pm

The helicopter used is at the discretion of Garden City Helicopters

The legal age to consume or buy alcohol in New Zealand is 18 years old. Please carry ID.

Infants 0 to 2 years old are free of charge and will be secured on the lap of a fare-paying passenger. 

Flight is subject to weather.

No refunds for bookings cancelled by the passenger within 24 hours of departure.
